Beliefs is a dynamic world of people to grasp, is a reflection of the highest value of life and social ideal, evaluate and grasp operation is a dynamic process, this process of human belief is a cultural value occupies the core position in the field of human spiritual life for the ultimate concern. Media are very important tools of communication, through which our culture and our belief is spread all around the world. They enable us to communicate own belief with each other by helping us to overcome the barriers of time and space. It is also a region of remarkable diversity of culture, history, language and geography.

Media influence our belief in various ways. Below are listed the most commonly seen. First, new media keep us well informed of the happenings of the culture around all of world which would otherwise remain unknown. It brings us new knowledge. Second, new media persuade us mostly through advertisements by culture transmission as we can see, and newspapers, magazines and TV are filled with all kinds of colorful, persuasive advertisements which tempt us to buy their products. In fact, this is the process culture transmission. It also a part of how the media influence our belief. Third, new media give us entertainment. Television and radio broadcasting provide us with a big variety of programmers every day. We get the information from all of it. Films, books, magazines, etc. give us daily amusement. We formed a new view,and it change our belief.

With the development of the society and technology,teenagers are influenced by many forms of entertainment. Our mind is not mature, the judgment ability is limited, some unhealthy violence, pornography and other things, will influence our belief the way of thinking and behavior which definitely have a profound and negative impact. Due to the profound impact of modern advertising on the consumption of the young people and way of life, the contemporary young people show off consumption, highlighting the personality of the consumerism concept has been quite serious, the belie of youth consumerism mainly manifested in their brand awareness .

In addition, negative and decadent culture tendency has gradually penetrated Youth belief. A survey shows that students pursuit of offbeat activities has become a trendy acts of nature; the Hair Coloring has becoming more and more popular; At the same time, the New media is a double-edged sword, it integrate to the daily life of young people. Good publicity, such as patriotism, advocating science, humanism, culture, aesthetic consciousness digestion sacred, emancipate the mind, still is the belief  in today’s society。

“Belief” is an awesome force that can give us the power to accomplish the seemingly impossible. When I study in high school, I heard many well-known examples of the power of belief in action according to my teacher’s introduction. The poor girl who sell matches for instance, always had belief that God would somehow provide the food, money and provisions she needed to continue her life. If you believe in yourself, you can accomplish anything. There is no muscle stronger than belief it’s a power much greater than one can imagine. During a crucial battle, a British officer decided to attack even though his army was greatly outnumbered. He was sure that they would win, but his men were filled with doubt. On the way to the battle they stopped at a church. After praying with his soldiers, the general took out a coin and said, “I shall now toss this coin. If it is heads, we shall win. If it is tails we shall lose. He threw the coin into the air and all watched intently as it landed. It was heads. The soldiers were so overjoyed and filled with confidence and faith in their officer that they vigorously attacked the enemy and were victorious. After the battle, a lieutenant remarked to the officer, “no one can change the destiny.” “Quite right,” the officer replied as he showed the lieutenant the coin which had heads on both sides.

In a word, media influences our belief in our daily life. The belief serves as a cause for new effort and new directions in our actions.
