Business English is sometimes overlooked by second language speakers and may be one of the most important aspects to conducting international business or preparing to live abroad. This course is designed to help intermediate and upper-intermediate learners of business English improve their business vocabulary. It is for people studying English before they start work and for those already working who need English in their job. Apart from improving your business vocabulary, this course also helps you to develop the language needed for important business communication skills. Topics include: Work and jobs: What do you do?, Word combinations with ‘work’, types of work, and ways of working. Next, we will talk recruitment and applying for a job. What are the selection procedures and skills and qualifications needed? Finally, we will discuss education, training, and finding the right person with the right skill set. Clear learning goals, vocab and topics are given before and after each class.
